Last Friday, the Sankei Shimbun announced the passing of actor Masaaki Maeda, who succumbed to ischemic heart failure on February 27th at the age of 91. A private funeral was conducted for close family members.

             Maeda was renowned for his roles in television series such as Ken-chan and Jiken Kisha. Notably, he portrayed Carozzo “Iron Mask” Ronah in Mobile Suit Gundam F91. His repertoire also includes performances as Shogoro Yano in Seishun Anime Zenshu and Nora in Hoero! Bun Bun.
