The third season video of the anime Re:Zero unveils a fresh cast and announces its premiere date set for October.
At Anime Japan 2024, the stage event for Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 showcased a new promo video, announcing the anime’s premiere in October.
At the stage event, it was announced that Aya Yamane will voice the character Liliana Masquerade in the upcoming season.
The video shows the new setting for Season 3: Priestella, a canal city. Liliana, a troubadour and singer, resides there.
The first season of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- premiered in April 2016 with 25 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed it during its Japanese airing. Crunchyroll also streams the spinoff series Re:Zero Starting Break Time From Zero and Re:PETIT~ Starting Life in Another World from PETIT~. Funimation released the English dubbed version on home video in June 2018.
In January 2020, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Director’s Cut, a revised version of the first season, debuted. It includes additional scenes and adjusts the episodes to fit a one-hour timeslot. Crunchyroll is streaming this updated anime.
The second season of the anime premiered in July 2020, delayed from its original April 2020 date due to COVID-19. Its latter half aired in January 2021. Crunchyroll streamed it alongside its Japanese broadcast.
